My biggest fear is losing a child to street violence. And my second biggest fear would be for them to lose me before I’ve taught them everything that they needed to know in life. They don’t know how to thrive on their own yet.
But I would really just like for them to be kids. Because children tend to worry about things that they don't have to worry about
— or shouldn’t, rather. I’m not one of those types of parents that say oh, the bills are due. You know what I’m saying? They don’t know anything about that. So I try to keep them as young as possible. Even though when they go outside you know it’s a whole different world. But in my house, I just want them to be at peace.
